Mary-anne Clarke


Mary-anne Clarke (GDCC, DYW, DLSC, DLSH), has an extensive history in the counselling and community services sector. She identifies her area of expertise and passion as being the youth sector and working with young people but she also works with adult clients, families and workplaces. She is currently a work place counsellor for several Hobart workplaces and her clients range from executives, middle management to blue collar workers. Originally, Mary-anne trained in youth work and since then has increased her expertise in the areas of community services management, criminology and corrections, counselling, suicide prevention, hypnosis and brief therapy.
 
Mary-anne’s vision is to work with people in a respectful and useful way and her practice is informed by a solutions based approach which assists in addressing concerns and increasing options for her clients. Mary-anne is a sole trader and is one of the founding members of a not-for-profit youth service, Oenghus Inc. She is highly motivated, versatile and professional practitioner who enjoys the variety, depth and breadth of her work.
