Jeannette established her consultancy Jeannette Kavanagh and Daughter in 1996, after many years in education.  Since 1986, she’s provided group and individual coaching in public speaking skills including how to manage performance anxiety/terror.  

In 2005 Jeannette wanted a career re-alignment.  She was delighted to find the Diploma of learning solutions in counselling with its focus on solutions rather than problems, and on client strength rather than counsellor-as-guru. Dr Kavanagh helps clients to articulate their concerns and to re-connect with their strengths so that they can create their unique solutions.  

As well as successful careers in education, writing, consultancy and coaching, Jeannette has run a wholesaling business.  So she’s always thrilled to discuss that question confronting any age group: ‘what will I be when I grow up?’.
